Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my business is ready for automation?

If you are spending more time managing exceptions than doing the work that actually grows your business, you are ready for a conversation. Readiness is not about size or budget, it is about whether your processes are documented enough that we can see what to fix. If they are not documented at all, that is exactly what the Assess stage of the Claro Build Framework is for.

Where do we even start?

With an honest look at what is actually happening in your business today, not a list of tools. That is the Assess stage. We tell you plainly what to tackle first and why, based on what is actually costing you time and money, not based on what is trending.

How much does this cost and is it worth it for a business our size?

Automation is not reserved for enterprise budgets. Every engagement is scoped to the business in front of us, which means the investment scales with what you actually need fixed, not with a fixed enterprise price tag. We will tell you honestly if the return does not justify the cost.

What if my team is not technical, will they actually be able to use what you build?

Every build ends with the Adoption Standard handover: a structured session plus documentation so your key operators know exactly how the system works. Your team does not need to be technical. If you want your wider team properly equipped to work alongside what was built, that is what our private workshops are for, and most businesses that take operations seriously end up doing both.

How long does a project take?

It depends on what the Assess stage finds, which is why we do not quote a timeline before we have actually looked. Most engagements move through Assess, Design, Build, and Sustain over a period of weeks, not months, and we tell you the real timeline once we know what we are dealing with.

What happens after the build is done, do you just hand it over and disappear?

No. The Sustain stage is not an afterthought, it is the fourth stage of the Claro Build Framework. Every build ends with the Adoption Standard: a structured 45-minute handover call plus documentation written as the system is built, and support through ongoing optimisation and monitoring. The handover call is not the end, it is the moment we make sure everything we built actually lands.

Do we need to replace all our current tools or can you work with what we already have?

We assess before we build, which means we design around what you already have wherever it makes sense. We do not recommend ripping out working tools for the sake of a fresh start. If something needs replacing, we will tell you why, specifically.

What is the difference between an audit and just jumping straight into a build?

An audit is the Assess stage on its own, useful when you know something is wrong but are not sure what. A build moves through all four stages of the Claro Build Framework. If you already know exactly what needs to change, you can start with a build. If you are not sure, start with an audit.

Can you train our team or just the person managing the systems?

The Adoption Standard handover covers the client and their key operators. If you want your wider team properly equipped to work alongside what was built, understand AI tools in their daily roles, or build shared capability across departments, that is a deeper engagement: our private workshops. The Adoption Standard makes sure the right people know how to operate what was built. A workshop makes sure the whole team knows how to own it.

How is Claro Builds different from just hiring a freelancer off Upwork or buying a SaaS tool?

A freelancer or a SaaS subscription gives you a piece of technology. Claro Builds fixes the broken process first, builds something specific to how your business actually works, hands it over properly under the Adoption Standard, then stays through the Sustain stage instead of disappearing after handover.
